Wellness Wanders

Join us for a virtual walk and enjoy seasonal sights in the Garden.

If you’re unable to visit the Garden in person, we hope you will enjoy a virtual visit with these ‘Wellness Wanders’.

During lockdown in 2020, we recorded weekly Wellness Wanders as we were more aware than ever of the power and importance of nature – the sights, smells and sounds as the Garden moved through the seasons. This series proved so popular that we have continued it, though less frequently.

Below are our most recently recorded wanders, as well as a library of previous ones.

We’d love to hear from you, so please do share your thoughts and comments on our social media channels.

We hope you enjoy these short films and that they bring you some uplift and respite, thank you for watching.

Wellness Wander for Mental Health Awareness Week, May 2022

Take 10 minutes and join our Head of Horticulture, Sally Petitt as she takes us to some of her favourite spots here in the Botanic Garden during Mental Health Awareness Week.

This Wellness Wander is all about connecting with nature, admiring the surroundings and taking a breather to soak up the spring sunshine and sounds.

Wellness Wander, January 2022

Enjoy a glimpse of a stunning winter wonderland – as our Mediterranean Beds are encrusted in frost – before heading inside to explore the Glasshouse Range and to take a look at some more exotic plants to give you a bit of a winter warmer!
