Donations help the Garden to run our education outreach programmes, to maintain our stunning landscapes and to support world-class plant science research.
In the spring of 2020, the Garden was closed for 12 weeks due to COVID-19. The loss of income from the cancellation of courses and events, as well as the reduced number of admissions now that we have reopened (which we are capping to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff), has been great and we welcome your support to help us maintain our world-class collections and heritage-listed landscape.
How you can give:
Donate online via the University of Cambridge online donations page.
Send a cheque to the Garden for the attention of the Development Office.
Donate cash via one of the collection boxes by the ticket offices and in the cafe.
Donate shares – find out more here.
Become a Friend or member of the Henslow Circle.
Leave a legacy or make a gift in memory.
Sponsor a tree or adopt a commemorative bench.
To discuss how you might like to support the Garden, different ways of making a donation or setting up regular donations via standing order or direct debit, please email us.
All donations to the Garden are recorded in the Book of Benefactions, which was commissioned in 2008 to become a lasting record of the ways in which the Botanic Garden has benefitted from generous donations from visitors and supporters.
