The endearing Narcissus ‘Tete-a-Tete’ is putting on a spectacular show in the Bee Borders.
An array of Narcissus (daffodils) is available for cultivation, but few are as easy and as rewarding for the gardener as ‘Tete-a-Tete’. A member of the Amaryllidaceae family, the genus Narcissus is distinguished by its linear leaves, leafless stems, and flowers comprising 6 perianth segments and a central cup or trumpet shaped corona. In this case the flowers reach no more than 20 cm, making it a valuable plant for the garden where it makes a good in-filler amongst perennials, but also grows well in containers.
