A range of drought tolerant species thrive in our Dry Garden where they receive no supplementary water, including the succulent Aeonium ‘Zwartkop’.
Aeonium ‘Zwartkop’ is a highly attractive succulent species which adds architectural structure to the garden. It s a member of the succulent family Crassulaceae and has fleshy rosettes of deep purple, glossy, spoon-shaped leaves, and may produce panicles of many yellow flowers. It can reach 2m in height, though requires winter protection and is treated as a tender perennial. It requires well-drained, gritty compost and a sunny position to thrive.
