This seldom-seen small tree from the Himalayas is bathing the Lynch Walk with a rich doughnut scent.
Each loosely spherical inflorescence is set off by a pair of long, lance shaped deep green leaves, each flower a slightly shambolic five-petalled star fusing to a coral-flushed tube enclosing the bright green stigma.
