Spot the difference – how to identify snowdrops

A short film with tips on how to identify some of the different species and varieites that can be spotted here at the Botanic Garden.

08 February 2021

There are about 20 known species of snowdrop, native to Europe and the Middle East  but there are over 2,500 different varieties, cultivars and hybrids!

In this short film, our Head of Horticulture, Sally Petitt, explains some of the main differences between a selection of snowdrops, currently flowering as part of our Snowdrop Trail here at the Botanic Garden.
