A celebration of summer and music, Sounds Green takes place every Wednesday evening in July on the Garden’s Main Lawn, providing a perfect opportunity to embrace sights, sounds and summer scents in the Garden with family and friends on a (hopefully) warm, summer evening.
- Open to all ages.
- Bring a rug and picnic (optional); food, ice creams and drinks on sale.
- Music from 6.15pm; Garden closes at 8.00pm.
Please note: due to limited capacity and to avoid disappointment, all paying visitors should buy Garden tickets in advance via the Botanic Garden website.
Online ticket sales close at midnight the day before each concert. Any remaining tickets will be available on the Gate on the day of each concert, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Friends of the Botanic Garden and CU students are admitted free, do not need a ticket but must bring their card with them to allow entry. Children under 17 are admitted free and do not need a ticket but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
