Sorted! Festival 25-27 September

To celebrate the opening of the Rising Path, we are launching Sorted! - a new festival of talks exploring how we bring nature to order.

23 October 2018
Booking is now open.
Sorted! brings together artists and art historians, botanic garden experts, scientists, historians, curators, horticulturalists, researchers and writers from Cambridge, Oxford, the RHS, the Natural History Museum and more to share their perspectives on how we sort and organise the natural world.

Each day is themed:

Sorted! by Science and Art on Tuesday 25 September

Sorted! by Sight and Scent on Wednesday 26 September

Sorted! by Word and Deed on Thursday 27 September

Hosted in the super-comfortable auditorium of the Sainsbury Laboratory, located in the research area of the Botanic Garden, the talks run from 10.15am – 3.15pm each day, followed by optional tours of the collections in the company of knowledgeable Garden staff, including a visit to the newly-opened Rising Path, designed to offer a new view on the Garden’s historic Systematic Beds.

Click on the links above for full details of each day’s programme and speakers.

Tickets are available now from the Cambridge Live Box Office cost £30.00 for one day or get sorted with a three-day, full festival ticket at £75. In addition to all the talks, the ticket price includes admission to the Botanic Garden, mid-morning refreshments and lunch from the Garden Café, and end-of-the-day tours.
