Friends enjoy free entry to the Garden (although an additional charge may be made on special events days such as Apple Day). We hope this will encourage you to come often through the year to discover how the Garden changes from season to season.

To join the Friends or buy a Gift Membership, please see above.

Friends can keep up to date with news from the Garden and Friends’ events through these pages, and also through the tri-annual Friends’ Newsletter.

You can also choose to sign up to receive regular e-news bulletins that include details on what’s going on in CUBG, the latest events and which plants and landscapes are at their best, just let us know via email if you would like to receive these updates.

Each member, Single or Joint, must present their Friends membership card at the ticket office on arrival. Without a valid Friends card you will be charged the normal admission fee. Further rules of admission can be found here.

If you’re a UK taxpayer, please consider Gift Aiding your membership by completing the Gift Aid section of the form. For administrative reasons, this section needs completing each time, even if renewing.

Please allow a maximum of 4 weeks for processing of application forms for both new and renewal membership.

If you have any further queries, please contact us by email or call 01223 336271.
